Which is the best toothpaste to use?

Any toothpaste containing fluoride that you enjoy the taste of is perfectly fine. Fluoride helps strengthen tooth enamel and protect against decay, making it an essential ingredient in your daily oral care.

Do I need to use a mouthwash?

Using a mouthwash is optional. While it can leave a pleasant taste, it should never replace brushing. Most mouthwashes don’t offer significant benefits, and some are highly acidic, which can erode enamel over time.

Is an electric toothbrush more effective than a manual one?

Both can clean your teeth effectively. Electric toothbrushes are useful for people with limited mobility in their hands or arms, but they don’t clean teeth faster—brushing for 4–5 minutes is still recommended, regardless of the type.

How safe are dental x-rays?

Dental x-rays involve very low radiation exposure and are considered safe. Modern equipment and digital imaging further reduce radiation levels. We also use film holders to avoid repeat exposures.

Can you conduct remote consultations?

Absolutely! Our dentists can offer remote consultations to discuss your concerns and suggest possible treatment options. Ideal for those unable to visit the clinic in person.

Do you accept referrals?

Yes! We’re always happy to welcome new patients. Our practice has grown through word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals from other dental professionals.

Is it important to replace missing teeth?

Yes—beyond aesthetics, missing teeth can cause bone loss, facial sagging, and lead to further tooth decay. Replacing them helps maintain oral health and prevents surrounding teeth from shifting or becoming unstable.

Is dental treatment painful?

Most treatments are painless thanks to modern anaesthetics. Injections may cause brief discomfort, but we offer topical numbing gels (especially for children) to ease the process.
